Andressa said that prior to when she experienced a spiritual awakening she was unable to let go of her abuser. One of the most difficult decisions, I called my abuser who abused me sexually. This was no effortless choice. After many prayer symphonies and fasting, I proclaimed on the phone that I forgive him, and while I didn't feel guilty I also asked to forgive him. My request for forgiveness was not a justification. Mariste Urach describes her reaction in an exclusive interview with Globo, when she learned that sexual harassment had been perpetrated against her daughter. Urach went to the city of Rio Grande do Sul where the pedophile was a resident to seek revenge.
