Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She is currently a fighter within the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than her fellow UFC fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina continued to win with a silver-medal in 2007, a bronze in 2008, a gold medal in the year 2011 and the title of 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia started her professional journey at the age of 23 in 2003. Antonina has been awarded numerous awards, such as the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Champion, Lion Fight Lightweight Championships, and WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's final fight was with Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. She returned to the ring against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa by a unanimous vote. She went on to defeat Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko battled Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina utilized superior strikes and striking skills to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the fight. In the aftermath of this fight, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina made her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi by the unanimous verdict. She then lost her subsequent fight due to an unanimous verdict. Antonina bounced off the loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke. It was the top fight of night for this fight. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn along with Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski, but beat Ariane. Antonina has been defeated recently by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
