Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music and R&B. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe, as well as the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is Denise White. Though she's located in Atlanta but her origins are situated in Chester Pennsylvania. There she was the first to begin pursuing a musical career as a singer and pianist at the church. She studied at Spellman College and began to study the R&B style that is popular in Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The single which featured her vocals"Stalk You A House 12, was only released in Japan. It's been remixed several times, and has become a staple in her live performance. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy and Tony Award winning vocalist who was part of the stage production Dreamgirls in the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, approached her about being the choir leader of the stage production. Sunshine was brought to the attention of America during the four performances per day at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be requested to sing with President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
